Since I have people who keep coming along and insisting that my use of "Stormbringer" came from a fantasy novel, I modified a post explaining the truth and made it into a "page" for easy access, capice?
OK, for the pinheads who do not get it, even though I have said it before: "Stormbringer", for my purposes, was taken from a great song by Deep Purple, from the album of the same name that was released in 1974. David Coverdale (later on, of Whitesnake) shared lead vocal duties with Glenn Hughes. If you want to rock out, you can listen to it here. (No, I have never read the fantasy novels by Michael Moorcock.) The album had some good moments, but I liked their previous album, "Burn", much better.
By the way, I have another song that could be "my" theme song. It's called "Thunder and Lightning" by Darrell Mansfield. You can listen to that one here; it's serious rock and roll, like the other one. That is, if Posterous is working, they can be unreliable.
