Make It YOUR Independence Day!

Image
Here is a great song, and someone did a great job on the fireworks to make the video. Listen to our declaration, Listen to our testament! We've been given a revelation, We are sure of where we stand. So let the banner be unfurled, We've found the light of hope in a dying world! Hear the myth of modern man: "You're the god of your own land". They call you weak, a spineless fool, Say you've given up your right to rule. But I have been to the "Land of Me", And I know I was never free; Freedom came when I gave it all away! That's why I call it independence day! Call it independence day. Let the rockets blaze across the sky, Raise the flag of faith up high, Let the doubters call it what they may: It's independence day! The world can crown another hundred kings, But I believe in a better dream. They may call it slavery, But the biggest chain I knew was me. So let the idols tumble down, The walls of lies crumble to the

Biblical Roots of America

Image
"The hope of a Christian is inseparable from his faith. Whoever believes in the divine inspiration of the Holy Scriptures must hope that the religion of Jesus shall prevail throughout the earth. Never since the foundation of the world have the prospects of mankind been more encouraging to that hope than they appear to be at the present time. And may the associated distribution of the Bible proceed and prosper till the Lord shall have made 'bare His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God' (Isaiah 52:10)." — John Quincy Adams Despite the efforts of revisionists to take away the truth and secularize America, the fact remains immovable that this country was founded on Christian values . Although this country was founded on the Bible, there was never a threat that people would be forced to worship at a state-run religious establishment; people were free to believe or disbelieve as they chose. Atheism is Not Conducive to Liberty

Image
"God who gave us life gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are of the Gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever; That a revolution of the wheel of fortune, a change of situation, is among possible events; that it may become probable by Supernatural influence! The Almighty has no attribute which can take side with us in that event." — Thomas Jefferson Why do atheists and their bed partners like the ACLU seek to destroy anything "religious" in public life? It is usually under the guise of "separation of church and state", a horrible misrepresentation of liberty. When Jessica Alquist sued a Rhode Island school because it had a prayer banner that had been standing for fifty years, so

Atheist Propaganda for the Young

Image
Heating It Up for Atheism in July continues with a review of the propaganda piece aimed at children by Richard "Daffy" Dawkins called The Magic of Reality. As usual, his misotheistic material is aimed at undermining the faith of people by using straw man fallacies, arbitrary assertions and appeals to emotion. Read between the lines: "Don't trust your parents, kids! If they deny evolution, they're lying! Come to me, I have the truth." Propagandist. Richard Dawkins’ latest book, The Magic of Reality (MOR), is quite unlike his previous works, not least because he would like children to read it. Certainly, there is little doubt that the colourful, eye-catching artwork of his collaborator and illustrator Dave McKean has enhanced its accessibility and considerably extended its reach. So, what kind of book is it? It’s a well-written, engaging, wide-ranging romp through all sorts of interesting questions about life and science. But, to borr

Atheists Claim Everything Came from Nothing

Image
Yours truly is amazed when evolutionists will believe "just so stories" based on guesswork, speculation, bad science and even fraud. And yet, they have the nerve to make fun of those of us who believe in a Creator. Worse, their logic dictates that they believe everything came from nothing. Such "reasoning" is fundamentally flawed , old son. "But Cowboy Bob, nobody believes that. Stop lying!" Don't believe me? Click here . I have a link to a discussion about a book that makes the same claim. So, if you get hit with their denials about atheists claiming ev erything came from nothing , send them here. Of course, they'll ignore the evidence. Some try to weasel out of it by redefining "nothing" ! It's their nature . But the truth is right here for your reference. How good is that? And now, about the book: If by definition something can never come from nothing, how could anything exist unless Someone put it there? This que

Truthers and Birthers and YECs, Oh My!

Image
Buon giorno. Here's something short that occurred to me. Republicans, and many Conservatives, distance themselves from people who have doubts that B. Hussein Obama was actually born in the United States. They even have a disparaging word, "Birthers". (Of course, leftists utterly detest anyone who does not bow down and worship Dumbobama, so they are not worth consideration.) There are nagging developments about his birth certificate that make the anti-birthers rethink their positions, however. But I don't want to get into that. Then there are the "Truthers". In general, Republicans and Conservatives distance themselves from this lot, with good reason. I want to slap them until their heads spin for their belief in utterly ludicrous conspiracy theories, capice? It's usually  cafones who want to believe sensational stuff, mostly leftists who hate liberty and freedom, who promote this crap. I wrote about this some time ago, go here for that article an

Tricks and Tips for Information Gathering

Image
First, an apology: Sorry for the confusion on the earlier publication. I was still working on this article under a similar title and had an argument with Blogger's software. It tried to print out the article. When I hit "cancel", it published the incomplete article in mid-sentence. That was annoying, and unfortunately went out into people's feeds. (You know that someone has not read the article when they "Like" something incomplete within seconds of its publication.) This was twelve days ago. This information should prove useful for a variety of people. There is information about the Kindle, but if you do not have one, keep reading. I put things in there for non-Kindle owners as well. Let me lay the foundation with my own situation, and you can substitute your own situation and needs. I need to spend a great deal of time learning things in Christian apologetics and Biblical creationism. So, my need for information gets me into science, theology — and In
